Spitalfields Saturday Style Market – Moroccan Spirit

The Spitalfields Saturday Style Market is a market full of original designers, surprising finds, award winning eateries, affordable art and free events. The market is open from 11am-5pm every Saturday. As MSc marketing students with UEA London, our lecturer Karen Richards gave us the chance to apply for the opportunity to sell goods at the market on March 8th 2014. As one of the four finalists chosen, our team consisting of Ciaran Fogarty, Amy Edwards, Tom Fisher, Temaloh Tempest-Roe, Mayur Patel, and Madison Cass decided to sell two ethical Moroccan goods – Moroccan babouche slippers and Moroccan key chains. The key rings are designed to be hung decoratively as well as act as surface ornaments; therefore we will suspend these products around our stall for a more eye-catching display as not to limit products solely to the main platform. These will act as a visual promotional tool themselves. The stall will be located at the front of the market, where the most foot fall occurs according to Ray Dervin, the Events and Marketing manager of the market. In terms of the actual market, Spitalfields is located in the Tower Hamlets Borough and easily accessible via public transport such as tube, bus and train. We hope to see you there on the day!970575504_319
