When I realised that I do not need more than what I have to be happy.

  1. What is your earliest memory?

The day that the asteroid fell on earth and wiped out the dinosaurs. Seriously though, my earliest memory is the arrival of my newborn younger brother, when my mother returned from the hospital after giving birth. I then realised that I was not the center of the world anymore.

  1. What do you like about your job?

A lot of things! But mostly teaching young people how to find questions that must be answered.

  1. What would be your super power be?

Making people smile.

  1. What is your favourite place on campus?

The UEA lake along with the surrounding area. Stunning, all year long.

  1. What is your favourite smell?

The smell of summer.

  1. Which words do you most overuse?

Nice…

  1. What is your favourite book?

Quite a few, but if I had to choose one, it would be Homer’s Odyssey. So much wisdom in it.

  1. What is your guiltiest pleasure?

Chocolate… Why guiltiest? Well, it is usually a lot of chocolate.

10. What keeps you awake at night?

Sometimes an unsolved mathematical problem and some others my fiancée’s nagging… Oops, probably more sleepless nights will come when this goes public.

11. How do you relax?

I close my eyes and think of the sea.

12. What is the most important lesson life has taught you?

The true enemy of a man is doubt.

13. Where would you most like to be right now?

Santorini (the most special Greek island), but this blog is a very nice place, too!
