NBS Business Breakfast 5th March 2015: Enterprise and Entrepreneurship
Following on from the success of the inaugural business breakfast in November last year which attracted over 25 senior managers from local community. Norwich Business School (NBS), in partnership with Adapt Low Carbon Group, will be running its second business breakfast in the Executive Education Centre within the Business School on the 5th March 2015 from 7:30am – 09.00am.
The theme of this event is Enterprise and Entrepreneurship and it is timed to coincide with the imminent completion of UEA’s new iconic Enterprise Centre. The UEA Enterprise Centre will be operational in autumn 2015 in time for the new academic year.
The centre aims to bring together teaching and learning facilities with work spaces for local companies. It will also house an early-stage incubator for start-up businesses to provide opportunities for UEA graduates and encourage staff on the research park to start their own businesses.
The building will be the Greenest Building within the UK and not only be a dynamic business interchange but will act as an emblem for SMEs within the Norfolk and Suffolk.
NBS will play an important role in the new enterprise centre with our new MSc in Enterprise and Business Creation. Like no other postgraduate degree this MSc course is distinguished by its creation of new businesses. Uniquely delivered in the brand new UEA Enterprise Centre, participants of this course will be motivated and focused upon developing and launching their own businesses. Supported by mentors and investors, and with access to a significant venture fund, this course will be at the heart of a new enterprise community for Norwich, the region and the UK.

The event is being co-organised by Dr Graham Manville from NBS and Gregory Luxford From Adapt Low Carbon Group. If you would like to attend the Business Breakfast, please contact Liane.Ward@uea.ac.uk
