Norwich Business School’s Recruitment & Development Launch 2019/20

With the first semester well underway we launched our new set of Executive Education Programme and 19/20 Graduate Job Programme (GJP) on Tuesday 29th October.

Graham Manville, Associate Professor in Business & Management / Director of Employability and Innovation at NBS opened the event after networking and canapes, welcoming the attendees. Graham continued to discuss the Graduate Job Programme and its benefits for both local employers and NBS students. Graham continued to introduce our Graduates of Global Distinction: ‘a talent pipeline on your doorstep’ and showcased the success of previous students who had secured roles through the GJP.

Graham was followed by Chris Drewett, who, in 2016 was successful in securing an Operational position within the NHS at the NNUH. Chris was able to give the audience a graduate’s perspective on the process and exhibit the tangible benefits of employing an NBS graduate. Since completing the graduate position Chris has been transferred to the surgery division and is currently the Directorate Operational Manager for Critical Care Complex, Day Procedure Unit and Pain Management.

Next, we welcomed Andy Vassallo, Associate Professor in Business Management / MBA Course Director at NBS. Andy introduced our new Executive Education Programme for the region, discussing how our short, flexible courses for companies and individuals will develop professional knowledge and leadership skills, enhancing professional practice and career development, and accelerating organisational productivity and performance.
